Almond Joy Overnight Oats - a cool, satisfying summer breakfast full of chocolate flavor and shredded coconut.
Ingredients
½ cup old-fashioned oats
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 cup unsweetened soy/nut/rice milk
1 tbsp cocoa powder
½ banana
1 tbsp almonds
1 tbsp shredded coconut
Instructions
The night before: Combine all ingredients (except the banana and almonds) in a bowl and stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning: Peel and slice the banana. Roughly chop the almonds. Top oats with banana and almonds, add a splash of unsweetened soy/nut/rice milk if desired and enjoy!
